A technique that I use is pretending that you are a loved one or close friend. You would listen to how they feel, and would want them to take care of themselves right? 

Good boundaries also protect your energy and help you maintain a healthy work-life balance. Be assertive in expressing your needs and desires while respecting the boundaries of others.

Cultivate Resilience

I like to read inspiring books, listen to podcasts, and watch YouTube videos! For more personal connections there are plenty of online groups on social media with like-minded people for any given topic or ideal mindset.

A strong support system can provide invaluable guidance and motivation during challenging times.

For this topic, I would recommend the book “How to Win Friends and Influence People” By Dale Carnegie. It is a bit more about keeping good relationships regardless of who it is, but still very helpful overall!

Whether it’s pursuing a career change, starting a new hobby, or engaging in volunteer work, embracing your passions adds depth and meaning to life.

A good book I would recommend for this topic is “The Pathless Path” By Paul Millerd.

  • Everything I do has meaning and brings fruitful enrichment.

Practice Self-Care

Self-empowerment is about nourishing your mind, body, and soul. Prioritize self-care routines that cater to your well-being, such as mindfulness practices, exercise, healthy eating, and quality sleep.

Taking care of yourself enables you to be a stronger force in the world around you. A great book for improving this would be “Atomic Habits” By James Clear.

  • I trust myself to know what is best for me.

Embrace Vulnerability
